A solution to the BBC’s gap in audience retention.
BBC Kid’s Hub
Kids aged 7-12 interact with the BBC less.
This group project focuses on finding an innovative solution to bridge the gap in audience the BBC currently faces. As a team, we worked collaboratively to produce a digital experience for this age range, whilst also ideating on methods to increase sign-ins to BBC accounts.
The Background.
This project was outlined by a Senior UX Designer at the BBC, and was completed as part of a group project for my masters degree in UX Design at UCLAN. Overall, we achieved a distinction score of 85, and were complimented on our abilities to work well as a team. To view the final prototype, please open the presentation document for a link.
The Presentation.
On the right is the presentation created to highlight each stage in our process as a group, containing detail on our method, primary research, secondary research, wireframes, prototype, and more.
The Review.
Alongside this, I had also written a self-reflective log describing the work I had conducted myself each week/sprint, a copy is available to the left.
